Yesterday, I visited Fort Collins and stopped in at the best LFS in NoCo. Fish Crew  at 1414 E Harmony Rd #1, Fort Collins, CO 80525 does not disappoint, even after multiple visits over the years. The display tanks in the entry area are as pretty as ever and I love the wall of plants along the front window by the check out desk. For a Holiday treat I ventured north to Cheyenne, Wyoming to visit a somewhat new and really awesome LFS. They are settled in now and their tanks are looking great. Well, you may find a bit of algae here and there and some of the plants are struggling, but the fish look great. The selection of livebearers and other popular fish is the best I’ve seen, rivaling About Fish in Denver. The other kewl aspect to this LFS is the new and hard to find fish they have. If you have not experienced About Fish, then your Fish life is sadly wanting. This is a classic LFS and the store is done about as good as it can be. While the isles are long and narrow, the stock selection is second to none. Perhaps there are better places to find a tank, and if you’re into aquascaping there are stores with better selection of hardscape. What this LFS does best is right in the name, About Fish! Ray’s Tank in Northglen , at 10667 Melody Dr Unit 15, Northglenn, CO 80234, remains without a doubt, the best Monster Fish LFS in Colorado. When you plan your visit, the hours are 11-7 Monday – Saturday, and Sunday 11-6. This is an old school LFS, which makes us older aquarists nostalgic. By this I mean they use trickle filtration and sump systems on most of their tanks. The rest are on sponge filters. At the front of the store they have all the supplies you’re likely to need

It’s been over 6 months since I featured MC Aquatics, so let me review the changes and such with this large LFS in SE Denver Metro. The store is located at 11800 Oswego St Unit D60, Englewood, CO 80112. The hours are 10-6 every day of the week. Not much has changed on the outside or as you enter the store.
