Aquatic Dog 2025

Aquatic Dog has found it’s footing. This exotic all around pet store is located on the NE corner of Illiff & Quebec. This area is the far east part of Denver and convenient to most anybody on this side of town. It is my choice for fish and supplies since I live in Aurora.

The selection of exotic pets has only grown. They now have newts and salamanders! Nobody else that I know of sells these beautiful animals in CO. They have dart frogs, among other frogs, reptiles, arachnids, and inverts. For the tropical habitat, they have plants, rocks, wood, etc. Talk to them if you are looking for a small mammal, as this varies on availability and seasonality. The one pet they do not carry are birds. Did I mention they sell puppies? This store does quality all around!

My favorite part of this store is the wide selection of nanofish. They have some beautiful Betta available as well as aquascaping plants. The rack of aquatic plants looks full and diverse. Aquatic shrimp are available, along with a variety of snails. Everything you need to set up a complete ecosystem. The focus here is on ecosystems, which I love! They have an aquascaping table over by the supplies. The tank selection is limited, though better than it used to be. They will order just about any tank or livestock you desire depending on if they can find it. Talk to them, they are most helpful.

They are open every day 11am till 6pm except Sunday 12-5pm. Consider planning a stop here before attending the Colorado Aquarium Society Fall Auction, October 18^th which is not far down the road.
