Pet Paradise and Tropical Treasures

My latest trip has taken me to Pueblo, CO and on my return a stop in Colorado Springs. First of all, Pet Paradise is as nice as ever. Nothing much has changed, except they seem to have more goldfish which may just be the season. The saltwater room is well stocked and everybody seems happy. This is a full service LFS. So, they have aquatic plants, though the selection was a bit limited. They have big fish, nanofish, common fish, and even a few harder to find species. If I lived in southern Colorado, this is where I would be getting my fish. Put it on your next fish crawl list. If you’re on vacation, stop in and see why this is a fun store. For photos see my previous blogs linked below.

Secondly, I stopped into Tropical Treasures in Colorado Springs because they where closed last time I was in town. Again, not much has changed, though they do have a nice selection of cichlids. The owner tries to be helpful, but I find him hard to talk to. You may not have this issue, so I will recommend you stop into this LFS when you get the chance. See the links below to my previous blogs. While I have not been too nice to this fish store, they do a good job of keeping the tanks clean and the fish healthy so this is a big plus. They do seem to love the business. The only way to know if a LFS is right for you is to visit and get a first hand feel for the store. Since I did not take any photos today, the photos here are from previous visits.
