Inside Reef Settles In

InsideReef has been open since December 2023 and continues to improve. They are located at 1820 Dominion Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80918 and their hours are 11-6pm Monday thru Saturday, Closed on Thursday, open Sunday 12-5. This is an all around fish store with both Saltwater and Fresh. The store has a nice layout with each of 4 rows of tanks being dedicated to one category, Saltwater Fish, Saltwater Corals, Freshwater Plants, and Freshwater Fish. The freshwater plant selection is nearly nil, though the supplies section now has tropical plants which really brighten the place up. They also have incorporated tropical plants into the freshwater tanks as a sort of filter. The new tanks in back feature monster fish, both fresh and salt. The selection of fish tend toward the cichlid variety although Ray, one of the owners, said they are happy to do special orders of fish as long as they can find a source. Ray and Derick got their start in the aquarium business doing Installations and Maintenance, so if you need help with this just ask. Ray seems very knowledgeable and friendly, a person anyone would be happy doing business with. For those who like to support their local LFS, this store is a joy to visit and easy to support.
